Our client, a top-performing Accounting, Financial Planning & Finance business, is seeking an additional administrative assistant to join their professional, friendly, and dynamic Hope Island team. They specialize in a range of services including accounting and taxation, business advice, taxation planning & advisory, superannuation, succession planning, and management accounting services.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an accounting practice
  • Impeccable presentation and customer service skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using FYI, Xero, XPM, and the Australian Tax Agent Portal (advantageous)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a confident and professional phone manner
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage
  • A proactive and calm demeanor in a busy environment
  • The ability to multi-task and support the team in all aspects of the role

Role Responsibilities: As the new administrative assistant, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing telephones and incoming & outgoing mail
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients
  • Liaising with the accounting team and ATO to resolve client queries
  • Arranging client meetings and managing diaries
  • Invoicing and managing workflow for the team
  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Recording and updating client details in databases
  • Preparing and sending forms via Fusesign
  • Assisting with tax agent administration of client lists
  • Performing general administration and office duties
