About the Role: As an Excavator Operator, you will operate heavy machinery to excavate trenches and install pipelines, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators for bulk earthworks, trenching, and pipeline installation (up to 30tn). GPS and final trim experience highly regarded.
- Safely dig trenches of various depths and widths, following site plans and instructions.
- Ensure accurate placement of pipelines, backfilling, and compaction.
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Adhere to safety protocols and worksite regulations.
- Valid Excavator Operator license (e.g., RII qualifications or equivalent).
- Proven experience operating excavators in trenching and pipeline projects.
- White Card.
- HR license is a plus, however not necessary!
- Strong understanding of excavation and safety procedures.
- Ability to read site plans and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
