Insolvency Consultant
  
Our Client, based in Sydney, is looking for an Insolvency Consultant to join their team.
  
The purpose of the role is to progress insolvency files under direction from senior staff.

Essential Requirements:
  • Use CORE/IPS appropriately including input of receipts/payments/creditors and ensure correct forms completion are adhered to.
  • Has considerable knowledge in the use of office products and is proficient in using standards and templates in CORE/IPS as per checklists, word and excel.
  • Demonstrates an ability to schedule tasks and co-ordinate workflow including scheduling staff and client liaison to determine deliverables and timetable.
  • Continuing accounting and Insolvency education by attending internal training sessions and attending external training and study offered by associations and industry bodies.
  • Demonstrates integrity and genuineness in all formal presentations.
  • Has the ability to make an impact when presenting to peers and clients through good use of voice and body language.
  • Is polite and confident with all stakeholder
  
Core Responsibilities:
  • Investigates financial records using internal and external resources, prepares reports and working papers promptly, adhering to legal guidelines.
  • Offers solutions, seeks team advice when necessary.
  • Proactively suggests problem-solving strategies and makes timely decisions. Ensures timely completion of files, timesheets, and billing.
  • Business Development
  • Apply business acumen to deliver services within established procedures. Committed to meeting stakeholder expectations by promptly addressing requests, including timely responses to calls and emails
  • Takes ownership of performance by seeking feedback and guidance, collaborating with team members to enhance work methods and achieve objectives.
  • Supports junior staff in developing technical skills and advancing their careers.
  • Collaborates with team members to generate and analyze new ideas for internal and external processes.
  • Provides supervisors with necessary data for budgeting and expenditure forecasts, utilizing relevant methodologies and technologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with independence and confidentiality requirements.
  • Stays informed about industry developments and supports team members in understanding them
  • Adheres to the Quality Control Manual, Policies, and Procedures
