Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who has experience with Government-related projects in Sydney such as the defence industry. You will work with the Director and clients to understand their needs, goals, and culture, and then craft design concepts that reflect their identity and values. You will also work with their project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure that your designs are executed flawlessly, on time, and on budget.
They are looking for someone who is a designer, and a storyteller. Someone who has the skills and experience to create workplace designs that tell a story about who our clients are, what they do, and why they do it.
A keen eye for detail, colour, texture, and style is important as is the knack for solving problems, finding solutions, and overcoming challenges. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential. You can manage multiple projects at once while keeping your cool and your creativity.

Requirements:
- Previous experience with Government related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in workplace design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative and functional workplace designs that meet the needs of our clients and reflect their brand identity and values.
- Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings to communicate design concepts to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in workplace design and incorporate them into your designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
