Internal Sales Representative
Reports to:
Sales Manager

Kempton Park, Johannesburg
Budget:
R10 000- R15 000 per month DOE
Our Client, based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, is on the hunt for a Friendly, energetic Internal Sales Representative to join their team.
Job purpose:
To plan and carry out internal sales activities within their defined sales area.
Requirements:
- 2-4 Years internal sales experience within a technical industry such as building or Engineering or similar
- Friendly, well spoken and willing to achieve
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Create sales orders in the system.
- Liaise with customers about stock shortages and request orders.
- Coordinate with representatives on pricing and materials. Ensure accuracy in accounts, items, quantities, and pricing when creating orders.
- Follow procedures for accounts on hold and notify representatives.
- Communicate with warehouse, production, and handle customer queries promptly.
- Manage tele-sales, market research, and suggest additional products.
- Ensure written orders for manufactured items and verify COD payments before delivery.
- Maintain internal sales equipment, keep the area tidy, and adhere to safety standards.
- Restrict unauthorized access to the sales office and maintain proper housekeeping.
- Provide weekly feedback on lost sales and back orders.
- File documents, including PODs, daily.
