Schedule: Nine-day fortnight (6:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily) About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a permanent role. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work in both a small team at Banks Meadow and a larger team at Kurnell. Key Responsibilities:- Perform mechanical fitting tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with a small team of two at Banks Meadow and a larger team of ten at Kurnell.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and installation of machinery and equipment.
- Work on projects involving Boiler making, gas fitting, and piping.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Certification III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade Fitting)
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, particularly in Boiler making, gas fitting, and pipes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work potential overtime as needed.
- A very good hourly rate and a weekly car allowance.
- A nine-day fortnight schedule, allowing for an extra day off every two weeks.
- A permanent position with the potential for overtime.
