Personal Development Supervisor
Our client in Sydney is seeking a PD Supervisor. This role focuses on advancing insolvency cases under senior staff guidance. It also offers opportunities for professional development through continuous education and technical and business development training.

Requirements :
- Has extensive knowledge in the use of office products and is proficient in using standards and templates CORE/IPS as per checklists, and Microsoft products.
- 4-6 years’ relevant experience in an insolvency practice
- Accounting degree, and may be undertaking ARITA, CAANZ or CPA
- Well-rounded experience across diverse engagements across the different areas of insolvency & corporate recovery
- Supervision experience of at least 1 – 2 staff and the ability to effectively portray management and leadership qualities.
- Assertive and consultative communication style and ability to build rapport/relationships easily
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence & professionalism when liaising with clients
- A proven track record of successful assignment delivery and client relationship management
- Displays maturity and a calm demeanour when under pressure
Responsibilities:
Insolvency / Technical:
- Manages assignments with optimal resource use, ensuring effective controls and meeting deadlines.
- Prepares/reviews budgets and cash flows, adjusting as needed.
- Understands assignment objectives.
- Reviews project information for risks and accuracy.
- Writes complex reports for stakeholders.
- Leads assignment teams, managing tasks and communication.
Business Development:
- Builds networks and upholds brand values.
- Contributes to industry publications.
- Communicates complex information clearly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Main contact for assignments, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Drives system and process improvements.
People:
- Provides feedback and coaching.
- Manages team workloads and development.
- Recognizes and rewards achievements.
Practice Management:
- Collaborates on creative solutions.
- Introduces new methodologies and tools.
- Manages budgets and productivity.
Quality and Risk:
- Assesses risks and ensures compliance with protocols.
